I know it’s going to be a different kind of holiday celebration for many of us this year, but that doesn’t mean that a girl can’t get a little dressed up for the season! Sumissura is amazing at offering size inclusive fashionable pieces, and we were more than happy to take them along on our staycation at Toronto’s Bisha Hotel!

I am all about investing in pieces that will do double and triple duty these days. So the first thing I looked for in my Sumissura dress was one that I would be able to remix, in a colour and style that would work year-round! I think this beautiful wrap dress hits the mark if I do say so myself.

This dress is perfect for going to a wedding, a party or another special event. It’s extremely comfortable and the fit was great for my slim frame. I also just love that I can remix it by adding a shirt or sweater over top to create a brand new look.

And curtesy of our girl Miss Lion Hunter we learned a great trick to remix the dress even firther by tucking a part of the hem into the waistband of the dress or a belt to create a new look!

I also love that Sumissura gives you the flexibility to design a dress that is truly tailored to your desires. When designing this particular dress, I was able to select if I wanted it to be strapless or have wide straps or spaghetti straps; I could select the length and even if I wanted it to be a high-low style hem-line! And of course, I had several colours to choose from as well!

Sumissura also offers more casual style dresses that would be perfect for work and/or cocktails with your crew (either in person or virtually:).

I just love companies that can offer customizable pieces that I know will fit me and my particular body and shape. Sumissura has done a great job with this and I can tell you, this dress will be worn over and over again, both as is and remixed!

While this year’s holiday season celebrations will be a little on the quiet side, I for one, am still looking forward to dressing up. Don’t get me wrong, getting comfy and cozy is definitely a treat but I really enjoy getting gussied up and Sumissura definitely helped with that.

This Sumissura dress has major “twirl” ability. I love a dress that can do that. I love body cons too but twirly dresses get at my girly girl side. The dress is strapless and midi in length…which adds the “twirl” factor I was mentioning.

The is boning found in the bodice of the gown that really helps to hold you in. There is also a slit found just off to the side of the dress some you can show a little leg.

What’s really great about Sumissura is that they really allow you to customize your design to really suit your whim and fancy. The offer several different necklines, colours, sleeve lengths and dress length options….you can really just go nuts and have with it.

Now, I’ve said over and over on different blog posts that I love when my clothes can do double duty. Why not try taking a simple cocktails dress this one and dressing it down a bit.

For this look I simply added a heather gray cardigan and belt. I also draped and tucked the helm of my dress underneath the cardigan for a cool “waterfall” effect….et voila, another cute look.

You could also add a crew neck or funnel neck sweater as well. The whole point is to have all kinds of fun with fashion!

And that’s the long & short of it!
