I think I’ve probably made it clear by now that I’m a sucker for a hot print, so it’s no surprise that this jacquard material with it’s print and texture has this girl hooked. But, did y’all remember how much I ADORE a hot suit? They are not just for the boardroom any more babes, they pack a punch – stylish, versatile, and effortless!

Let me break it down for you:

Stylish – These days, you can find the perfect suit to “suit” your personality. They come in varied colours, prints, textures and styles and companies like Sumissura allow you to add even more of your own personal touch. You’re tall? No need to worry about if the arm and pant length will cover all your inches. Have a larger bust? Have that blazer customize to have the girls locked and loaded looking perfectly tailored to you. Got a gadunkadunk (i.e. booty in lay terms lol)? Have those trousers custom made so that no one sees your Victoria’s Secrets! And with Sumisura allowing you to select the fabric and colour of your suit; the lining; number of buttons, single breasted or double breasted; skirt suit, pant suit or short suit and so much more, you will definitely find that perfect flair!

Versatility – In my humble opinion the best part about buying a suit is breaking it up and rocking the blazer and pants with different pieces you already have in your wardrobe. Since suits are more often than not a bit more expensive, it’s a great plus to have the versatility of creating several looks with one suit!

Effortless – Many women have told me that they love rocking dresses because it’s one piece and they’re dressed. No need to look for matching anything beyond shoes and maybe a purse. Well, suits are the same way. If you want easy, just rock the full suit. You automatically look pulled together and all you did was throw it on.  Easy peasy!

This suit fulfilled all of my dreams. The print and fit are perfect! Just remember, jacquard has no stretch so make sure you double check your measurements when ordering to ensure the perfect fit. I went with one button since I have a small bust and a slim leg for the pants because that is just my vibe these days. Styling this look was easy. I just took colours from the suit. Fun earrings and purse, simple heeled sandals, and for a touch of sexy, a bright coloured bra.

All I know is, this suit will be a part of my wardrobe for years to come! I can’t wait to break it up and rock it with different pieces! It’s about looks on looks on looks!

Suits are a wonderful versatile item in anyone’s wardrobe. I’m all about versatility because it stretches my clothing budget dollars – and who doesn’t love that.

So, as you can see from the pictures below, I’m about that suit life!

I just love the fact that I can dress them up or down and just have so much fun with my clothes. Now for me, finding that great fitting suit as a short plus size woman sometimes comes with its own set of challenges but Sumissura takes a lot of the pressure off of my shoulders. Why you may ask? Well, Sumissura offers made to measure suit options!

Now, I know you might be thinking, “Ah, I don’t have thousands of dollars for a custom suit!” Don’t fret my pet – Sumissura has a vast array of options that work for a variety of budgets.

For this suit, I wanted to go out of my comfort zone with a more over the top printed suit look. I was inspired by the florals suit looks that Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2019 runway show. I was able to select every aspect of my suit from the fabric to the fit. This is a blue floral jacquard suit that features large lapels, one button closure and angled pockets on the jacket.

I also went with a longer length jacket as well that has no venting in the back because I’ve got a whole lotta junk in my trunk and those flaps always stick up which annoys me.

I chose high waisted wide leg trousers with angled pockets. Once again, I was able to select the style of pants I wanted from the length of the pants to having pockets or not as well as their placement – like I said the options are endless.

To finish my look I added this cool transparent belt, fun dangley earrings and printed pumps!

And that’s the long and short of it!
