My beautiful plus size babes, this Kaela Kay dress comes in ALL sizes! See link above!i

What can I say, Catherine Addai, the brilliant designer and owner of Kaela Kay brings the thunder and lightning in the form of fabulous fashions season after season, and this season is no exception! Incorporating both unique African print pieces alongside gorgeous non-printed creations, her collections never fail to inspire the imagination and provide exquisite pieces for every body.

I have always loved the playfulness and whimsy that can be found in many of her pieces, but what I love most is that if you’re looking for a non-traditional print, she’s got you covered. If you’re like me and you love to rock prints, especially African prints, you start to notice that, though the style of the garment may change, the prints can sometimes be repetitive.  This is not an issue with Kaela Kay. If you love print the only question will be “what’s the limit on that credit/debit card”!lol

This dress, dubbed the “Ella Dress” falls in the category of printed perfection! I saw it and just new our relationship would be long lasting and true!lol

Made out of breathable cotton, this eye-catching dress strikes the perfect balance between the playful and professional. You can also dress it all the way up with accessories for that special occasion making this dress a win-win-win!

That said, as mentioned earlier, Ms. Addai has not limited her designs to perfectly printed pieces. She has taken her talent for accentuating the female form through fashion and incorporated vibrant colours and luxurious materials. Taking a page from no ones book, Catherine Addai is blazing her own trails in the Canada and international fashion scene. And if you didn’t catch the hint earlier, Kaela Kay creations come in ALL sizes. So if you’re a size 2, 10, 20 or 28 and everything in between, she’s got all your curves covered, and this has been her commitment from the beginning!

When styling this particular dress, I opted to add a belt to further accentuate my waistline. As I’m quite long and lean, even though the dress is made to highlight the waist, I wanted to take it a step further. The remaining accessories I incorporated in this look were kept quite simple. Sometimes all you need is the standout piece and nothing more. This is the case for me in this dress!

Thank you Catherine Addai for giving ALL women the opportunity to rock beautiful, vibrant pieces that make a statement!  Who wants to blend in when you can stand out from the crowd and do it looking this good!

And that’s the long and short of it!

Leslie xoxo
