This dress with its snake skin print has got me feeling butterflies baby! Just one look and I was in love. Part of the special occasion collection section on-line ! Made from dupioni silk, this little number puts the “do” in “dope” and I just had to have it!
With eShakti you can customize your pieces to your exact measurements or select from the standard sizing offered. Personally, I always select the standard sizing as I always get a great fit. Then I enter my height to ensure I get the hem to hit me exactly in the right spot. With eShakti for many of the items you can select the sleeve length, style of neckline and hem length to make it match your personal style!
For this particular dress, I actually really wanted a pencil style for the bottom portion even though that was not the original style of the dress. eShakti lets you customize so much about their pieces, but the overall design of the item cannot be changed. This is where your trusty tailor comes into play. I had my tailor take in the dress to create more of a pencil style on the bottom and voila, it was everything I wanted it to be!
The dress comes with this beautiful green coloured belt (seen in Gail’s images), but I decided to go for a more downtown chic look so I switched out the green belt for this large black belt with silver detail. I then added these snake print boots since I love me some print on print action!

The days are getting a little bit longer and the weather a little warmer….perhaps its just my Canadian wishful thinking but one must hold out hope! LOL Also, wedding season is essentially around the corner and with that in mind this snake print dress definitely fits the bill.
I love the deep blue colour of this dress which beautifully features a snake print. The dress also features dolman sleeves which I shortened just a smidge. The dress also has green belt to cinch in my waist. I will say as Leslie did that the dress is slightly big on the bottom half so I would recommend sizing down. I also had the skirt altered as Leslie did as I wanted the skirt portion to be more pencil in style.
Leslie and I love print on print looks so I added printed pumps and a printed clutch to complete my look.
