For my straight size sisters, eShakti has got your back as ALL of their styles come in size YOU!!!

I cannot begin to explain how much I LOVE eShakti! Before I did any kind of blogging stuff this company was my go to. I first stumbled upon them back in 2010 when I was searching high and low for a dress to wear to a co-worker’s wedding. I couldn’t find anything I liked in the stores that fit me. With about 3-4 weeks before my friend’s nuptials I was sweating bullets.

I combed through the eShakti site and was bowled over by the fact that all I had to do was find something that I liked not just focus on something being available in my size because everything on the site would be available in my size!! No more stress shopping!

So, this zebra print dress is next level amazing. The fact that I could customize it they way I wanted was a God send. As you can see the dress has a very plunging neckline so I wanted to add a little bit of je ne c’est quoi by adding this lace bodysuit to provide a just a tiny bit of coverage and some fun feminine detailing.

I chose to have long sleeves on this dress and to have a shorter hemline to show off my gams. I also added this obi style belt to cinch in my waist a little bit as well. But the best feature of this dress is that IT HAS POCKETS!!!

Gail and I both fell head over heals in love with this dress when we saw it on the eShakti site, and were eager to show you all how we put our personal touch to the same garment! With the level of flexibility eShakti offers with respect to customization of the sleeve and hem length, as well as the neckline, I could not wait to style my dress!

I love the deep v-neckline so I left that and the sleeves alone. But the maxi length is not usually something I go for, so I brought that hem-line up to 4 inches above ankle length and it is exactly where I needed it to be to suit my personal tastes.

eShakti always has some great tulle (or crinoline) skirts, and when you’re a slim girl like me or just like added volume, a tulle skirt under a dress or a flared skirt can be just the thing. I pulled out my eShakti tulle skirt for this dress and slipped it on underneath to give me some added volume to my bottom half to balance out my shoulders and give me more of an hourglass silhouette.

I wanted to keep this look simple, with the full focus being on this dress, so I just added an oversized belt which, if you’ve been following us for a while, you know is my thang since it’s great at shortening the look of my long torso and highlighting my small waistline.

Then came the simple nude pumps and gold accessories and I am ready for a holiday party or a dinner out at a swanky spot!

Thank you eShakti for always having our backs and providing great pieces that fit all women! And don’t forget to stay tuned, as this week we show you how to rock these gorgeous eShakti dresses in 3 different ways! Oh, did you think we were joking when we said we’re all about versatility? Nah fam! We’ve got you covered!

and that’s the long and short of it!
