Coat Crush

The cold weather has arrived but that doesn’t mean we can’t still keep it cute. Join us to share the coats we’re currently feeling.

Leslie – Coat Crushin‘

Coat: TopShop // Sweater: Banana Republic (sold out, similar here)// Blouse: Zara // Skirt: TopShop // Shoes: Zara (old, similar here) //

For my beautiful plus size babes: Coat // Sweater, Sweater // Blouse, Blouse, Blouse // Skirt //

I have an obsession with pretty coats. They create the perfect foil for any look. Like the icing on a cake! This bad boy zebra print coat made my heart skip a beat and my breath hitch when I saw it. I knew it was love!

Faux fur and printed? What more could I have asked for. Talk about making a statement when you walk into a room. I wanted the overall look to be tone on tone and fun, so I added a zebra print sweater with a leopard print tie-neck blouse underneath.  This skirt is EVERYTHING, so I just had to have it for this look.  Colour, texture pattern. This is a phrase Gail often recites when we’re out shopping and I was all over that for this look.

As for accessories, I went ham! I know” they” say you should always take one thing off after you’ve gotten dressed, but I was all about being over the top with this look. I added a chunky necklace, bracelet and earrings to round out the look. Then I added tights because the weather outside is frightful, but since there wasn’t a ton of snow when we shot this look, I threw on my high heeled sandals!

Al in all, this look makes me feel like a million buck and like a boss babe, and I’m always down for that!

Gail’s Black & White Story

Coat: Old Navy // Shirt: Shein Curve // Skirt: Addition Elle (old) similar here // Fishnet Stockings: Torrid // Pumps: Zara (old) similar here

Tall and straight size babes, I didn’t forget about you: Coat (exactly the same as the one I’m wearing!) // Shirt // Skirt

So, black and white is my favourite colour combo! When I saw this houndstooth coat I knew I had to have it. This coat goes from the boardroom to the a casually chic weekend look. I love when my clothing can do double duty. The coat is a relaxed fit with angled pockets

So I’m also a big fan of mixing prints. This organza blouse with black polka dots and puff sleeves is to die for. I added this black pleather skirt which I’ve had for a while and keep going back to over and over.

I completed my look with my go to right now which is fishnet stockings and voila I’m off to paint the town black and white!

And that’s the long and short of it!
