Orange and yellow are a stunning colour combination! Though possibly not for the faint of heart, Gail and Leslie are heating up the streets of the 6ix in this spicy combination!
Summer is on the horizon and that always makes me gravitate towards vibrant colours- this jumpsuit definitely fits the bill. This bright citrus coloured jumpsuit features batwing sleeves and a tie front. I also love the midriff bearing look of this jumpsuit as well.
I added a this two toned clutch from ASOS to add even more fun to this summer time look.
So, as you’ve probably noticed I’m wearing wedge sandals and leopard print shoes. I wanted to show that either shoe would work perfectly with this look….also, toward the end of this shoot my feet were killing me and so I couldn’t wait to switch to flats LOL
Here is a jumpsuit option for my tall sisters – Jumpsuit
While I’ve been known to rock the orange-yellow combination before, y’all will never guess where my outfit inspiration came from for this look. Ever seen the animated movie “Sing”? Remember the main character’s best friend, the sheep Eddie Noodleman? Well, it just so happens that I love this movie, and in one scene, Eddie is basically wearing a similar outfit (i.e. orange blazer, yellow shorts)!LOL
I love this outfit because of the colour explosion and versatility! I can rock the jacket as I have done here, or pair with with jeans or even shorts. The pants are gorgeous and can be dressed down with a t-shirt or denim shirt. Now speaking of the pants, the tall girls out there may have a bit of an issue with them if you want to wear them with high heels. There is only a little hem. My slim ladies will also find that the XS size is til a bit big such that you may want to take it to a tailor, but depending on your exact size, you may be able to get away with it.
To complete this colourful look I decided to top it off with a leopard print fedora adding a little print to the look and some bright yellow stilettos. And just like that, I feel like I’m walking on sunshine!
And that’s the long and short of it!
Gail & Leslie xoxo
